Is There A Casio Or Yamaha Keyboard In Your House Some Where ?

Guess what i found out after years of observing the pawn shops ? I found out that most Casio and
Yamaha keyboards that are pawned haven't been used very much . And i found out that one in
four houses has either a Casio or a Yamaha keyboard some where in them probably collecting
dust . Usually it was a Christmas present which got at most a 1/2 week of use or less . Where
am i going with this ? I discovered after years of teaching that there have many pianos and keyboards            sold over the last 20 years , but the recipients have not realized the purpose for which the musical
instruments were bought . They wanted to learn to play some of there favorite songs . What
happened ? Why are all these pianos and keyboards now collecting dust ? Well , this brings
me to the quick . There are probably many different reasons why but i will just tell you some of
the main causes i have found for it . 1 ) no time  2 ) no teacher 3 ) no money  hello !
Well let me say i feel sorry for all of you who , give away , sold , pawned or  destroyed
your keyboard or piano for these reasons or maybe other reasons . But I have good news for all
of you who still by the grace of god still have a keyboard or a piano to play some where in the house .
And guess what it is ? ............................. You tube !  Yes  You tube . This is in my opinion the
greatest informational resource ever invented . It solves the main three reasons why people don't
end up learning to play the instrument they purchased to play or  purchased for someone else
to play . You a busy person you always wanted to play piano but you don,t have time . Well ,
on you lunch break you can pull out your i phone get on the web and pull up You tube . Then
type in a video " free piano lessons " and a hundred video tutorials on how to play piano will
pop up made by some of the best piano teachers in the world . " FREE " Then you can
use a virtual piano app on you i phone to practice want you learned on You tube on you
lunch break ! Solved ! The time issue , the teacher issue and the no money for lessons issue .
Now you can kept that old keyboard and finally get some use out of it after all you paid for it .

Intro To Learning To Play Piano

First off , before doing anything ask your self why you want to learn to
play the piano . This is very important  . The answer to this question
and how strong you feel about it will determine how much effort you
will put into practicing and studying to learn the piano .Next you need
to have some idea about what style of music you desire to play . There
are many styles you could learn such as : Jazz , Blues , Classical and
Gospel , just name a few . Once you've decided what you would like
to play then i would suggest that you go to places where this type of
music is regularly being played . Usually you can find a piano player
who teaches piano but if they don't , they more than likely will know
some body who does . After you find a teacher then you'll be well
on your way to learning to learning what you want to play on the piano.
How ever let's say you can't find a teacher to learn from . There or
other ways you can learn . One way is to seek out video tutorials on
you tube . There are hundreds of videos on you tube that show you
how to play chords and licks on the piano. The sweet thing is that
it's mostly FREE ! Another way is to purchase instructional DVDs
off line . There are many teachers offering lessons on DVD you can
find them on : eBay , amazon , or you can just do a search on google
to see what you can find . But just try some of these ideas and see
if this will get you started on your journey . Well good luck .

I have a Great tutorial on YouTube for you to sink you fingers

Any One Can Learn To Play The Piano

I remember when i was about six years old . In our house was an old upright piano that sat
up against a wall down in our basement . I would from time to time stop by the old piano and
try to plunk out a melody or two . Over time developed a desire to really learn to play the piano .
So i began to take lessons at a little piano school in town . I didn't study there long because
my family couldn't afford to keep paying for the lessons . By the age of 12 my desire had grown
into a passion . I began buying books and videos that taught me more about how to play the
piano . It took a while but i finally  got to be pretty good on the keys . But i know that if i would
have had a good teacher it wouldn't have taken so long . This is why i have set out on a quest
to make sure that any one that wants to learn to play the keys CAN !  I now host free piano
lessons on you tube . Lessons are posted weekly .
